what does the cross mean for you?
Heather and I’s first stop in Colorado was the tattoo parlor! 🤪🤭 the artist Rick once he saw we both wanted crosses asked us “What’s the cross mean for you?” I’m gonna be honest I don’t know what Heather said but after thinking about it, I said “Life”.
The cross means life to me. It’s means I can’t survive without what Jesus did on the cross. I wouldn’t be able to survive my day to day without grace and mercy. I would burn both ends of the candle until it’s completely depleted without Him. I’d continue the vicious cycle of working towards a goal of perfectionism and never achieve it.
Psalm 23 says ”The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
My cup overflows because of Him!
If you didn’t know I climbed the Manitou Incline last Friday while on this trip, and I have been fasting from carbs for a total of 40/40 days as of Sunday. I say this not as an accomplishment but as a mere testimony to the BIG GOD I SERVE! I’ve been doing supernatural things that are only possible through the Holy Ghost!
I said God would drag me up that mountain, and He did just that!
If you can think it, you can achieve it! 🦾
Here’s the last beautiful photos from our life changing trip.
